Town Center

Town Center is the downtown area of Columbia. Residents appreciate the uniqueness of Town Center with its urban living in a suburban setting. The community of Town Center is unique since it offers primarily condominium and town home type homes, in non-continguous communities, all within walking distance of The Mall at Columbia. With just over 1200 residential homes, Town Center will retain it’s urban ambiance. One thing you will always see in Town Center is residents walking or biking around or to and from The Mall. Vantage Point, a community in Town Center comes from a poem by Robert Frost. Street names were chosen from Frost and William Cullen Bryant.

What Makes Town Center Unique?
• Archstone Columbia Town Center – is a 531-unit high project located on an 11-acre site
overlooking Lake Kittamaqundi in Columbia. The design incorporates two hidden parking
decks located within the main building massing on the site, very rich landscaping, dramatic building elevations, and a progression of courtyards that step down along the central “promenade” of the site from the high point at the clubhouse/entry fountain to the rear of the site overlooking the lake.
• Columbia Mall – is an upscale shopping mall in Columbia, Maryland featuring over 200 stores including Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Sears, JC Penney, LL Bean, Ann Taylor, Eddie Bauer, American Eagle Outfitters, Limited, and more. Dining options include a food court, Champps Americana, P. F. Chiang’s China Bistro, the Cheesecake Factory and UNO Chicago Grill. AMC Columbia 14, located behind the mall, offers a wide selection of movies with stadium style seating.
